our story

Welcome to Change of Taste. We are Catherine and Irene, two old souls trying to live our best lives as 20-something year olds. Hailing from the Midwest, we met each other during our freshmen year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. We instantly bonded over the fact that we actually share the same birthday, which would explain a lot of the sisterly qualities in our friendship. In case you were wondering, I (Cat) am older. This might be an important detail, most likely not though. 

Since our fateful meeting five or so years ago, we have uncovered many similar interests between the two of us. Out of our friend circle, we are the two who truly love to shop. Through our countless excursions to the mall, we discovered our shared love for fashion and experimentation. We would spend hours at a store trying on clothes or pairing outfits, squeal at a good find, and squirm at the sight of our dying wallets. In developing our own distinct style over the years, we realized that what remained constant was our deep appreciation for innovative style and beautiful clothing.
